Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has expressed profound gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the reappointment of Hajia Faridah Dankaka as Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
Governor AbdulRazaq described the reappointment as an honour to both the people of Kwara State and the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reflecting the confidence reposed in the leadership from the state.
In addition to the chairman’s reappointment, the Governor also thanked President Tinubu for appointing another distinguished Kwaran, Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi, as a commissioner of the statutory body. Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who assumed office in 2019, is widely regarded for his progressive policies focused on good governance, education reform, and infrastructural development in Kwara State. A lawyer by training and a seasoned public servant, AbdulRazaq has been an influential voice in the APC and Nigerian politics, advocating for accountability and inclusive development.
Hajia Faridah Dankaka, the reappointed Chairman of the Federal Character Commission, is known for her extensive experience in public administration and policy implementation. She previously served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development in Kwara State and has been praised for her commitment to equity and inclusion in federal appointments and resource allocations.
Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi, the newly appointed commissioner, brings a wealth of experience in governance and public health. A respected figure in Kwara State, Dr. Abdullahi has served in various capacities in the civil service and is recognized for his advocacy in community development and effective public sector management.
