Operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 37 suspected internet fraudsters in Wukari, Taraba State.
The arrests took place on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, behind the Federal University, Wukari, following credible intelligence regarding the suspects’ alleged involvement in cybercrime activities.
Recovered items include two cars, 12 laptops, and 46 mobile phones. The suspects are expected to be charged to court in the coming days.
