The visit was part of the DMS’s first Bi-Annual Grand Rounds and familiarisation tour of Nigerian Navy (NN) medical facilities in the state.

Speaking during the visit, the DMS stated that the exercise aimed to provide first-hand insight into the state of medical facilities, ongoing projects, challenges, and existing strategies, with a view to developing solutions to enhance healthcare delivery for personnel and their families. He sought support and collaboration from the Command to strengthen medical services across the centres.

In response, the FOC commended the DMS for his proactive initiatives, including the recent upgrade of the X-ray room at the Naval Medical Centre, Onne.
