The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, on Monday, 8th September 2025, led a delegation from the state to a one-day Stakeholder Engagement Conference on Advancing Social Protection Through the National Social Register (NSR) held in Lagos.
At the event, the National Social Safety Nets Coordinating Office (NASSCO) presented Governor Sule with an award for what it described as his visionary leadership in strengthening social protection systems, fostering economic growth, and promoting inclusive governance that uplifts poor and vulnerable households.
Governor Sule was accompanied by key members of his cabinet, including the Commissioner for Finance, Hon. Munirat Abdullahi; the Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Barr. Isaac Danladi; and the Commissioner for Trade, Industry and Investment, Hon. Sani Otto.
The recognition was seen as a testament to Nasarawa State’s growing commitment to policies that improve the welfare of disadvantaged groups and deepen inclusive development.
