The National Leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, received a delegation of Northern orange traders residing in Benue State on Monday, 8th September 2025, at a meeting held in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The traders highlighted the challenges affecting their businesses and informed the senator that they are currently on strike due to the difficulties they face in sustaining their trade.
In response, Senator Kwankwaso assured the delegation that, God willing, he would engage with the Benue State Governor to address their concerns and work towards lasting solutions that would support their businesses and promote self-reliance.
The meeting reflects ongoing efforts by political leaders to engage with local business communities and address obstacles affecting trade and livelihoods in the region.
