In fulfillment of his campaign promise, the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area in Rivers State, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, has empowered Ms. Jumbo Amie Bernard, a groundnut seller within the Council Secretariat, with a cash support of N500,000.
Hon. Pepple explained that he observed Ms. Jumbo Amie’s resilience and dedication during recent campaigns and decided to provide assistance to help grow her business. Presenting the support on behalf of the Chairman, the Vice Chairman, Mrs. Ibinyefagha Alabere, praised Ms. Jumbo Amie for her hard work and encouraged her to remain consistent in her trade.
Mrs. Alabere noted that the gesture was intended to help Ms. Jumbo Amie expand her business and improve her livelihood, reflecting the Chairman’s commitment to supporting hardworking residents of the council.
