
The Executive Chairman of Kachia Local Government Area, Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari, has expressed deep grief over the tragic death of six Catholic women from Sabon Sarki Parish, who lost their lives in a fatal accident along the Kwaturu–Kenyi road on Saturday. The women were travelling to attend a parish conference when the crash occurred, leaving several others injured.
In his condolence message, Dr. Maigari described the incident as a painful loss not only to the Catholic faithful but to the entire Kachia community. He extended sympathies on behalf of the local government to the Parish Priest, parish leaders, families, and friends of the deceased, praying for comfort and strength for the bereaved and a quick recovery for those who sustained injuries.
The Chairman assured that the Local Government will stand by the affected families, pledging support and collaboration with religious and community leaders to provide necessary assistance. He further urged motorists to exercise caution and adhere strictly to traffic regulations to avoid further tragedies of this nature.
