The Kano State Police Command has arrested two suspects, Matthew Adewole and Mukhtar Muhammed, in connection with the robbery and attempted murder of Nigerian singer Lil Kesh.
Police sources confirmed that Matthew confessed to attacking the artist on August 19, 2025, during which he forced him to transfer ₦2,120,000 from his account using his mobile phone to the account of Mukhtar Muhammed. The incident left Lil Kesh with severe injuries, including a deep cut to his neck.
Authorities disclosed that the case has now been transferred to the Lagos State Police Command for further investigation, as efforts continue to ensure justice and hold the suspects accountable.
