
The Adamawa State chapter of the Association of Nigeria Artisans and Technicians (ASNAT), through the Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development, is making a strong showing at the continent’s largest gathering of artisans and technicians in Abuja. The event, held at the Velodrome, National Stadium, runs from September 23rd to 27th, 2025, bringing together skilled professionals from across Africa.
Leading the Adamawa delegation, Mallam Ibrahim Usman, Director of Entrepreneurship, praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his forward-looking leadership in supporting artisans and technicians as key contributors to national economic growth. He noted that the state government, through the Ministry of Entrepreneurship Development, sponsored Adamawa’s participation to empower local craftsmen and entrepreneurs, urging participants to seize opportunities that could transform their businesses and the broader economy.
The Director of Cooperatives, Hajiya Zainab I. Bode, also commended Governor Fintiri for his consistent support of the sector, emphasizing that nurturing artisans and technicians is vital for building a resilient economy that benefits all. She highlighted Adamawa’s strong presence at the trade fair as a reflection of the state’s growing reputation as a hub for skilled craftsmanship and entrepreneurial innovation, showcasing the talent and creativity of its people on a continental stage.
