NAIC, Bank of Agriculture Forge Stronger Partnership to Support Farmers

The Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC) has strengthened its collaboration with the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) to boost agricultural financing and expand insurance coverage for farmers across the country.

NAIC Managing Director/CEO, Mr. Yazeed Shehu Danfulani, led a delegation on a courtesy visit to BOA’s Corporate Headquarters in Abuja, where he was received by the Bank’s MD/CEO, Mr. Ayo Sotinrin.

Discussions focused on forging strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing risk management, promoting financial inclusion, and driving sustainable growth in Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

Mr. Danfulani was accompanied by NAIC’s Executive Director (Operations/Technical), Hon. Abubakar Jarengol, and Executive Director (Finance and Administration), Mr. Ayandayo Babaranti.

Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to supporting farmers with access to finance and adequate protection against risks, underscoring the importance of synergy between financial and insurance institutions in unlocking the sector’s potential.
