Governor Hope Uzodimma on Wednesday welcomed His Excellency Guatiel Mignot, Ambassador of the European Union (EU) to Nigeria, at the Government House, Owerri.
The meeting, described as an introductory courtesy visit, provided a platform to strengthen ties between Imo State and the EU while exploring areas of mutual interest and potential collaboration.
The Ambassador was accompanied by members of the EU delegation, including Mr. Osaro Odemwingie, Political Advisor, and Ms. Chioma Osuji, Program Manager in the Human Development Section.
Discussions focused on potential partnerships in political engagement and human development initiatives, aimed at improving governance and the socio-economic well-being of the people of Imo State.
