
The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, has called for the creation of special courts to handle cases brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The governor emphasized that dedicated courts would allow for faster and more effective justice delivery, strengthening Nigeria’s ongoing fight against corruption.
Governor Sule made the remarks while serving as the Reviewing Officer at the combined Passing-Out Parade of 404 Detective Superintendent Cadets of Course 10 and Detective Inspector Cadets of Course 7 of the EFCC. The ceremony took place at the Police Mobile Training College in Ende Hills, Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area, highlighting the Commission’s expanding manpower and operational capacity.
During the event, the governor commended the EFCC for its persistent efforts in combating financial crimes and urged the newly commissioned officers to maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, and patriotism as they assume their critical roles in national service.
