Yola, October 14, 2025 — The Adamawa State Police Command has condemned the assault on a police officer captured in a viral video circulating on social media. The footage, originally posted on the TikTok account @dadiskid_backup, shows a police officer in a camouflage T-shirt being dragged and physically attacked by an individual.
The Police Command described the act as unacceptable and stressed that such behavior against law enforcement officers will not be tolerated. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to ensure that appropriate legal action is taken against the perpetrator.
SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, ANIPR, Police Public Relations Officer for Adamawa State, assured the public that the command is committed to upholding law and order while safeguarding the rights and safety of its personnel.
