The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), in partnership with Paystack, has launched Operation Go Cashless — a secure and contactless digital payment system across Nigeria’s airports.

Effective September 29, 2025, all payments at FAAN revenue points, including airport access gates, will go fully digital, marking the end of cash transactions at these locations.

The initiative aims to modernize airport operations, improve efficiency, and align Nigeria’s aviation sector with global best practices in digital service delivery. With the new system, passengers and airport users can enjoy faster, safer, and more transparent payment experiences, while FAAN strengthens revenue assurance and enhances the overall travel experience.

To ensure a smooth transition, FAAN has deployed trained brand ambassadors at airport entry points. Passengers can also obtain a Go Cashless Card at access gates or online via gocashless.faan.gov.ng.

The rollout begins at Lagos and Abuja airports before expanding to other airports nationwide.
