The Northern Christian Network for Sustainable Development (NCN-SD) has declared its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and called for the return of former Senator Danjuma Tella Laah to the National Assembly.

The group, made up of Christian leaders, clerics, and development advocates from across Northern Nigeria, made this known during a courtesy visit to Senator Laah at his Abuja residence on Tuesday.

Led by its National Coordinator, Hon. Christopher A. Jallo, the network described Senator Laah as “a leader who has consistently advocated for Northern minorities and promoted inclusive governance.”

Jallo stated that the organization plans to collaborate with churches, Christian fellowships, and development centers across the North to promote civic participation and national development under the Tinubu administration.

“Our message to Christians in the North is that engagement and dialogue are vital for inclusiveness. Senator Laah’s leadership and commitment have inspired renewed confidence in the government’s outreach to all communities,” Jallo said.

He added that the NCN-SD believes Senator Laah’s experience and record of service make him “a credible representative for the region” and that his return to the Senate would “enhance representation for Northern minorities.”

Senator Danjuma Laah, who formerly represented Kaduna South Senatorial District, is widely recognized for his contributions to local enterprise, agriculture, and education in Southern Kaduna.
