In a bid to advance the welfare of Nigerian workers, Comrade Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, led a high-powered delegation of the Congress to pay a courtesy visit to Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, in Umuahia.
The visit focused on strengthening social dialogue and deepening collaboration between government and labour, offering a platform for the NLC to commend the labour-friendly initiatives of the Otti administration.
During the engagement, the NLC reaffirmed its commitment to advocating for decent work, improved working conditions, and better living standards for all Nigerian workers, emphasizing the importance of continuous collaboration between labour unions and state governments to achieve these goals.
