Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State – Despite the economic and social challenges affecting many Nigerians across the country, the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) has reaffirmed its unity and commitment to supporting the developmental initiatives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, emphasizing the importance of collective action for a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.
According to Hope Uzodimma, the forum’s statement highlighted that the meeting provided an opportunity for reflection on the nation’s socio-economic trajectory and reinforced the governors’ shared responsibility in promoting inclusive growth, strengthening governance, and deepening cooperative federalism.
The gathering also marked the formal induction of Dr. Peter Mbah, Governor of Enugu State, into the forum. This expansion, the statement noted, strengthens the forum’s collective capacity and underscores its commitment to national unity, policy coherence, and people-centered leadership under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The PGF meeting in Kebbi thus reinforced the forum’s resolve to continue supporting the transformational drives across the nation, positioning the governors as key partners in the administration’s developmental agenda.
