The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has issued a fresh prophecy ahead of the 2027 general elections, warning that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) may face intense public anger and hostility due to growing dissatisfaction among Nigerians.
In a statement released on Sunday, the cleric said God revealed to him that Nigerians’ frustration with the government will reach a boiling point, such that people wearing APC-branded T-shirts or symbols could be attacked or stoned in public.
“God told me that if they wear APC T-shirts now, people will want to attack them or even stone them,” Primate Ayodele said. “What I see is that when they see that you are APC, they will stone you. This is the level of anger the people have developed.”
Primate Ayodele, known for his outspoken prophecies on national and political issues, urged the ruling party to urgently address the economic hardship, insecurity, and rising cost of living that have intensified public resentment.
He cautioned political leaders to act swiftly in rebuilding public trust and improving governance, warning that ignoring the people’s suffering could trigger widespread civil unrest ahead of the next election cycle.
