Anambra State, Nigeria — November 5, 2025 — Former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has reiterated his unwavering commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s education and healthcare sectors during a visit to the College of Nursing Sciences, Iyienu, Ikenga Ogidi, on Wednesday evening.
Addressing a large gathering of students from various fields, including Nursing, Midwifery, Medical Laboratory Science, and Dentistry, Obi emphasized that their chosen professions are not just careers but noble callings dedicated to the service of humanity.
During the visit, Obi announced a ₦15 million donation to support the institution’s growth and development, stressing that investment in education and healthcare remains fundamental to building a prosperous and equitable society.
