Residents of Dandume told reporters that the latest attack has intensified fear in the community, with some describing a pattern of repeated incursions in recent days. However, full details of all incidents within the week remain unverified by official sources at this time.

The C-Watch security group mentioned by residents is part of community-based security efforts in parts of Katsina State, where local vigilante structures often support formal security agencies in responding to rural threats.
