Popular Nigerian preacher and marriage counsellor Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo has sparked widespread reactions after urging married men not to place themselves under unhealthy pressure in an attempt to satisfy every expectation of their wives.
Speaking during a recent church ministration, the founder of the Funke Felix-Adejumo Foundation and co-founder of Agape Christian Ministries addressed issues surrounding marriage, expectations, and emotional balance. A video clip from the sermon has since gone viral across social media platforms on the 4th of July, generating conversations about relationships and marital responsibilities.
In the message, Bishop Felix-Adejumo told married men not to exhaust themselves trying to please their wives at all costs, stressing that no human being is capable of fulfilling every expectation of another person.
According to her, "Don't kill yourself trying to please a woman. No one can please a woman."
