The Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State, Reverend Ezekiel Dachomo, has issued a stark warning to President Bola Tinubu, accusing his administration of promoting an Islamic agenda through the Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket and alleging that the policy is being used to "finish" Nigerians. In a viral video that has sparked widespread debate, the outspoken Northern Christian crusader urged all Nigerians to prepare for self-defence, declaring that Christianity would not be wiped out under the current administration. "Tinubu, I'm begging you in the name of Jesus to stop this Islamic agenda, all over Nigeria, the Igbos, South South be ready for self-defence if Nigeria is going to be turned upside down, let it be," Dachomo said.

The cleric's explosive remarks come just days after he conducted mass burials for nine members of his extended family who were killed in an overnight attack on Kum Community in Riyom Local Government Area around July 12. Fighting back tears, Dachomo condemned the recurring violence and declared that communities could no longer remain passive. "Enough is enough. Self-defence is a must, and we are prepared… Tinubu, I'm waiting for my arrest," he said. He also raised an alarm over fresh threats, alleging that Fulani militias had written a letter informing him of their planned invasion to kill one of his church members. "Christians wake up and open your eyes, I have not finished mourning my people, my nine siblings, now Fulanis are writing a letter to my member that they are coming to kill him, come and kill him, you will see what will happen," he warned.

Dachomo, who has previously described the Muslim-Muslim ticket as "complete genocide" against Christians, argued that the religious composition of the Tinubu administration has heightened fears among Christian communities, particularly amid recurring killings and displacement in parts of the Middle Belt. "Under Muslim-Muslim ticket they want to finish us?" he questioned. He further alleged that some security formations might have been compromised by extremist elements, claiming that "some of them have been infiltrated by Boko Haram". The cleric did not provide evidence to support the claims.

Addressing Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang directly, Dachomo urged the state government to take the alleged threats seriously and ensure the safety of his congregation. "Governor, this is Ezekiel Dachomo speaking, if anything happens to my members there will be mass protests in Plateau State, it will go down to South South. Our patience does not mean that we are cowards, we are not afraid of soldiers," he said. He appealed to security agencies to deploy additional personnel to Barkin Ladi Local Government Area, saying, "Let more security be added in Barkin Ladi Local Government because if this man is attacked, nothing will stop me from taking the lead into redeeming my people".

The latest accusations add to a series of statements by Dachomo, who has repeatedly spoken out against attacks on farming communities across Plateau State and Nigeria's Middle Belt. He has documented incidents of violence, conducted over 70 mass burials, and previously threatened to institute legal action at the International Criminal Court over what he describes as targeted attacks on Christian communities. He has also claimed to have been threatened by aides and loyalists of President Tinubu over his advocacy, a claim that drew the attention of a United States Congressman who warned that the US would not take it lightly if Dachomo were to come to any harm.

The Plateau State Government and the Nigeria Police Force had yet to publicly respond to Dachomo's latest allegations at the time of filing this report. The Muslim Rights Concern has previously dismissed Dachomo's genocide claims as "superfluous paranoia" and suggested he may be eyeing political office. However, for Dachomo and the communities he represents, the threat is real and immediate. "They are displaying Islamic agenda. They want to control the whole country. All Christians should wake up from their slumber and face the Bible because these people want to make every Christian to become Muslim by force," he said.
