Thanks to the intelligence-driven approach and swift action of the troops, they were returned to their families without the agonising wait that has become all too familiar for victims of kidnapping in the region. The military has assured the public that efforts to track down the fleeing terrorists will continue, with troops maintaining pressure on the criminal elements that have turned Zamfara's roads into corridors of fear.
