Popular interior designer and businesswoman Ehi Ogbebor has opened up about her past relationship with transport union leader Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, describing him as a calm, kind and generous man who taught her the true meaning of giving with impact . Speaking on the Nevon Podcast, Ogbebor offered a rare glimpse into their relationship, which she says fundamentally changed her perspective on generosity and care .

Ogbebor, the CEO of Sayaveth Interiors and Hotels, recalled how MC Oluomo would give substantial amounts of money to people around him, including security guards and street boys, as a way of showing genuine care rather than just handing out small change . "He is calm, he is kind. MC Oluomo is the one that taught me that if you want to dash a gate man money, don't dash him N10,000, N5,000; give something that would mean something to that person," she said . According to Ogbebor, MC Oluomo would tip area boys as much as N200,000 each and gate men N100,000, describing his generosity as a reflection of his character .

She also recalled how he would show care through material gestures, bringing provisions to her home in a Hilux vehicle and even bringing goats and snails during his visits . "It is not just about the money, it's about the care. When I was dating him, he would use a Hilux to bring provisions to my house and even kill goats and bring snails," she said .

Addressing criticism over her decision to date a married man, Ogbebor acknowledged that MC Oluomo was married but noted that his Islamic faith permits multiple wives . "MC Oluomo is one of my best friends. Ayinde, as I call him, that's the only man I would say I dated as a married man, but he's Muslim. Even bus conductors have four wives as Muslims," she said . She also pushed back against claims that she deliberately targets married men, saying: "I don't snatch people's husbands, I'm waiting for the wives to come and tell me how I snatched them" .

Her comments have sparked mixed reactions online, with some questioning the relationship while others focused on her account of MC Oluomo's generosity . Despite their break-up, which reportedly ended around February 2023 over allegations of infidelity, the exes have remained on good terms, often celebrating each other publicly on birthdays . MC Oluomo has described Ehi as one of the strongest women he knows, while she has called him a great man and a dear friend .

Ogbebor also used the interview to reflect on her personal history, revealing that she has been married twice. She described her first marriage, which began when she was 18, as "nonsense" and alleged that she was subjected to severe domestic abuse, including an incident where she passed out after being beaten by her ex-husband . "I got married at 18. The marriage was nonsense because I married who I didn't know. There was a day he beat me so bad that I passed out. I woke up and saw him pouring olive oil in my mouth," she said .

As the mother of three continues to navigate public scrutiny over her personal life, her defence of MC Oluomo has added a new chapter to the ongoing public conversation about relationships, generosity and the complex intersections of faith and personal choices in Nigeria's celebrity landscape.
