The Big Brother Naija Season 11 house witnessed another dramatic exit on Sunday, August 23, 2026, as housemate Cassi was evicted from the 'Show Ya Sef' edition after four weeks in the competition, bringing his journey for the grand prize of ₦160 million to an abrupt end. The 27-year-old entrepreneur, actor, realtor, and forex trader, whose real name is Ezenwoke Nwosu, became the fifth contestant to leave the reality show following a live eviction programme hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. Cassi's eviction came despite his impressive performance in the Week Four Arena Games, where he emerged victorious, and his strong showing in several brand-related tasks. However, his 5.27 per cent of the total votes cast proved insufficient to keep him in the competition.
Cassi, a multi-talented individual from Abia State who joined the show as the 24th and final housemate during the July 26 premiere, was among eight housemates placed on the eviction list in the fourth week. He faced possible eviction alongside Araga, Gerard, Goddessa, Nomy, Temi Nkem, Tram, and Yusuf, while Sheba and Aikou were also part of the larger nomination pool. The voting results showed Nomy with 10.84 per cent, Goddessa with 6.76 per cent, while Cassi's 5.27 per cent was the lowest among the nominees. During his four-week stay, Cassi distinguished himself in several aspects of the game. He acted as the main chef in the house, handling cooking responsibilities for his fellow housemates. He also developed a close friendship with Nomy, with the pair spending considerable time together, including in the Head of House Lounge. During a Power Oil-sponsored challenge in Week Four, he represented Team Green alongside Bluethopia in one of the physical challenges, with Team Green eventually emerging as the overall winner. Despite being a relatively low-key personality compared with some of the more outspoken housemates, Cassi remained competitive in tasks and engaged in the game's strategic and social dynamics.
Cassi's eviction came as a shock to many viewers, particularly because he had won the arena game on Friday, August 21, just two days before his departure. However, his relatively quiet presence in the house may have contributed to his inability to secure enough votes from the public. At his introduction, Cassi described himself as a man of many talents and acknowledged that his highly organised nature could sometimes get him into trouble in the house. His interests include drawing, painting, and chiropractic therapy, reflecting his diverse personality.
Meanwhile, the live show also saw Abi emerge as the Most Influential Player of the week, becoming the first female housemate to receive the title this season. Abi, who became the Head of House for Week Four, defeated Chimsom Chuka in the final stage of the Head of House challenge. She subsequently faced an unexpected twist when Biggie gave her the power to nominate three members of her own winning team for possible eviction, choosing Aikou, Araga, and Yusuf. With Cassi's departure, 19 contestants remain in the house, and the competition enters another crucial phase as alliances, rivalries, and strategies continue to evolve.
The grand prize of ₦160 million, which includes ₦100 million in cash and an SUV, is the biggest in the history of the BBNaija franchise.
