Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been honoured as a Christian Youth Peace Ambassador by the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, YOWICAN, at a national gathering in Abuja.
The recognition was conferred on Friday, September 4, 2026, during the National Christian Youth Security Summit and Thanksgiving, where Christian youth leaders commended Tinubu for what they described as his commitment to peace, youth development and national unity.
Tinubu was not physically present at the event and was represented by Ambassador Belusochukwu Enwere, who received the honour on his behalf. A message from Tinubu was delivered during the ceremony, in which he expressed appreciation to YOWICAN for considering him worthy of the recognition.
In his response, Tinubu described the honour not simply as an award but as a greater call to service and responsibility. He said the recognition strengthened his determination to support initiatives focused on youth development, peace-building, unity and positive social impact.
