The Nigeria Police Force, Zone One Command, Kano, has declared a 37-year-old man, Usman Ibrahim, wanted over allegations of criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation, and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace. The wanted bulletin was made available to journalists on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, by the Zone One Police Public Relations Officer, Hussaini Abdullahi.
Ibrahim, whose occupation was listed as unknown, was described in the bulletin as dark-complexioned, with a round face and black eyes. His last known address was given as No. 14, Layin Jaji-Majigama, Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State. The police did not provide details of the specific transaction or circumstances that led to the allegations against him.
The wanted notice was issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police. It directed members of the public with information about Ibrahim’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano. The police said the notice was issued pursuant to Force Directive CID No. 48, which provides for rewards for information leading to the arrest of persons declared wanted under the directive. Anyone who sights Ibrahim was urged to assist the police in effecting his arrest and hand him over to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano.
The bulletin listed the alleged offences against him as criminal conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation, and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.
