The Executive Governor of Ogun State, Dr. Dapo Abiodun, MFR, received Princess Dr. Adesola Ayoola Elegbeji, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and winner of the recently concluded Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North Federal Constituency bye-election.
Princess Elegbeji presented her Certificate of Return, officially issued by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), confirming her victory in the bye-election.
Governor Abiodun congratulated the newly elected lawmaker, describing her victory as well-deserved. He extended his best wishes for success as she prepares to assume her duties at the Federal House of Representatives in Abuja, representing the people of Remo Federal Constituency.
"We wholeheartedly congratulate her on this achievement and wish her great success as she takes up the noble responsibility of representing the good people of Remo Federal Constituency," the Governor stated.
Princess Elegbeji’s victory underscores the APC’s continued influence in Ogun State and reflects the confidence of the electorate in her leadership and capacity to serve effectively at the national level.
