Former Governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has openly declared that he would support former Vice President Atiku Abubakar over Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), when it comes to the future leadership of Nigeria.
Tambuwal made the remarks during an interview on TV Politics Today, emphasizing that his political choices are guided by principles of leadership and integrity, rather than personal or human relations.
“When it comes to leadership of this country and leadership of the people, talk more of today, I will prefer to support Atiku than Nyesom Wike,” Tambuwal stated.
The former governor’s comments highlight ongoing alignments within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the nation looks ahead to the next political cycle.
