
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing strategic defence collaboration with the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) following a high-level delegation visit on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
The delegation, led by the Chairman of the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (CPAC), Air Vice Marshal Hakim Raza, engaged NAF leadership on technology sharing, advanced training, fleet maintenance, and joint development initiatives aimed at boosting operational capacity for both air forces.
Receiving the team at NAF Headquarters, AVM Iboro Etukudo, Chief of Policy and Plans, described the ties between the two air forces as mutual, collaborative, and trust-driven. He emphasized that strategic partnerships are central to the Chief of Air Staff’s agenda to transform NAF into a more agile and resilient force, capable of addressing national security challenges across diverse operational environments.
Accompanying the Pakistani delegation were AVM Aurang Zeb, Deputy Chief of Air Staff Operations, and Colonel Kamran Mushtab, Pakistan Defence Attaché to Nigeria. The visit highlights both nations’ shared commitment to regional security, operational excellence, and mutual growth. It also aligns with the CAS’s command philosophy of prioritizing research and development, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and drawing on lessons learned from strategic partnerships.
