
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to building a robust and inclusive digital identity ecosystem for residents of Lagos State.
The Governor made this known during a meeting with the management of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) at Lagos House, Marina. The discussions focused on new initiatives being introduced by NIMC to enhance a more inclusive identity management system for both Lagosians and Nigerians nationwide, as well as deepening the existing collaboration with the Lagos State Residents Registration Agency (LASRRA).
Governor Sanwo-Olu noted that the partnership between Lagos and NIMC is crucial in driving effective governance, ensuring inclusivity, and improving service delivery to citizens through digital innovation. He pledged that his administration would continue to support initiatives that strengthen identity management as a foundation for security, planning, and social development.
