Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the welfare of retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries in Ondo State, describing them as senior citizens whose sacrifices laid the foundation for the state’s progress.
The Governor gave this assurance while receiving members of the Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries at his office on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. He emphasized that their wealth of knowledge and experience remains invaluable to governance and assured that his administration holds them in high regard.
Governor Aiyedatiwa commended the Association for establishing a Development Initiative Committee, pledging that any recommendations aligned with the state’s developmental agenda would be carefully considered for implementation.
On concerns raised about pensions and entitlements, the Governor acknowledged the need for harmonization and upward review in line with present realities. He assured that government would look into their demands while balancing available resources.
