Governor Eno Directs APC Members to Return to Wards for Revalidation

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has directed all members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to return to their respective wards for membership revalidation. The exercise, which will commence on August 4, 2025, and last for about a month, aims to ascertain the actual members of the party.

The Governor emphasized the importance of the membership registration, stressing that it will help to lay to rest the issue of camouflage and pretence. He urged every member of the party to show commitment and unity of purpose, and desist from unnecessary internal bickering for the overall good of the state.

Governor Eno expressed his support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that the President means well for the country. He noted that the President's administration is stabilizing the economy and releasing funds for state projects. The Governor urged party members to support the President and other APC candidates for re-election in 2027.

The Governor also inaugurated a 10-man committee for an APC Secretariat project, with a mandate to search for land, raise funds, and deliver a befitting Secretariat for the party. The committee includes prominent party members, and their task is expected to enhance the party's infrastructure and operations.

The Governor's directive and initiatives are aimed at promoting party unity and progress. He appreciated party members for their support and urged them to work together towards the success of the party. The Governor's leadership disposition has been described as a testimony of grace, compassion, and inclusivity by the State Party Chairman.
