NCAA Appeals for Eyewitness Accounts on Ibom Air Uyo–Lagos Flight Incident

Published on 12 August 2025 at 17:23

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is calling on passengers who were aboard the Ibom Air flight IAN513 from Uyo to Lagos last Sunday to step forward and share what they witnessed during an incident involving Ms. Comfort Emmanson.

The appeal comes as investigators seek to piece together a clear picture of what transpired on the domestic flight. According to NCAA spokespersons, firsthand testimonies are critical in ensuring that the findings are factual and complete.

“Passengers who were on that flight can play a crucial role in helping us determine exactly what happened,” an NCAA official told Stone Reporters News.

Anyone with relevant information is urged to contact the NCAA directly via michael.achimugu@ncaa.gov.ng or send a direct message to the authority’s official channels.

The NCAA reassured the public that it remains committed to ensuring safety, transparency, and accountability in Nigeria’s aviation industry.
