Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has congratulated Hon. Obinna Oriaku, the newly appointed Commissioner representing Abia State in the Federal Character Commission (FCC).
In a goodwill message issued on August 13, 2025, Governor Otti expressed gratitude to the President for the appointment and urged Hon. Oriaku to view the role as a call to selfless and people-oriented service.
Quoting the Governor:
“Since the body was established to ensure fairness and equity in the distribution of public positions and socio-economic opportunities among the various federating units of the Republic, it’s important that appointees are supported to make meaningful impact in strengthening our democracy and fostering peace, unity, and development in Nigeria.”
