
Vice President Kashim Shettima, representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, attended the High-Level meeting commemorating the 80th anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly at the UN Headquarters.
During the event, President Tinubu delivered a three-minute address, celebrating the spirit and achievements of the United Nations. He commended the organisation’s legacy in promoting peace, protecting human dignity, and advancing developmental goals across the globe.
The Vice President was accompanied by Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani; Minister for Solid Minerals Development, Mr. Dele Alake; Minister for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa; Women Affairs Minister, Iman Suleiman-Ibrahim; and officials from the Nigerian Mission in New York.
