Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have apprehended three suspected kidnappers and recovered a vehicle belonging to their victim. The spokesperson of the command, SP Bright Edafe, disclosed on Monday, September 22, 2025, that the suspects abducted the victim from his residence in Ogwashi-Uku and took him into a nearby bush.
SP Edafe revealed that the kidnappers demanded a ransom of N2 million from the victim’s family. When the family was unable to pay the full amount, the suspects reportedly shot the victim in the leg. The Delta State Police Command continues to investigate the case and is working to ensure the suspects face justice.
