
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has presented brand new vehicles to all former Deputy Governors of the state, a gesture aimed at facilitating their mobility and acknowledging their contributions to the development of Akwa Ibom.
During the presentation ceremony, Governor Eno handed over the keys to new Land Cruisers, emphasizing that the gift was in recognition of the former leaders’ sacrifices and commitment to the state’s progress. “Given your dedication at different times in the service of Akwa Ibom, you deserve comfort and support,” the Governor said, highlighting his administration’s commitment to the welfare of citizens across all sectors.
Governor Eno prayed for the continued health and wellbeing of the former Deputy Governors, noting that the state would continue to benefit from their wealth of experience and wisdom.
Former Deputy Governors present at the event included Ambassador Etim Okpoyo, Noble Lady Valerie Ebe, Mr. Moses Ekpo, and Obong Nsima Ekere. While receiving his key, Obong Nsima Ekere expressed gratitude to the Governor for the generous gesture and pledged his continued support for the successful implementation of the ARISE Agenda.
The gesture reinforces Governor Eno’s commitment to honoring public service and fostering a spirit of collaboration and recognition among past and present leaders in Akwa Ibom State.
