
President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Friday for a working visit, as Nigeria prepares for a subdued celebration of its 65th Independence Anniversary.
The President traveled to Lagos shortly after attending the coronation of His Imperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Ibadan, Oyo State. While in Lagos, he is scheduled to hold meetings with key private sector players and senior government officials.
On Tuesday, September 30, President Tinubu will travel to Imo State to commission projects executed by Governor Hope Uzodimma. As part of the Independence anniversary activities, he will also commission the remodeled National Theatre, which has been renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
