Governor Sule Opens 22nd Edition of Nasarawa Arts and Culture Festival

The Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, officially inaugurated the 22nd edition of the Nasarawa State Festival of Arts and Culture (NAFESTAC) on Wednesday, October 22, 2025. The festival, themed “Celebrating Unity and Diversity,” was launched at Lafia Square, drawing artists, cultural enthusiasts, and dignitaries from across the state.

Governor Sule emphasized the importance of cultural heritage in fostering social cohesion and promoting Nasarawa State’s rich diversity. The festival is set to showcase traditional music, dance, art, and other cultural expressions, providing a platform for young and established talents to engage with the public.

NAFESTAC has, over the years, become a significant event for preserving local traditions while encouraging tourism and creative industries within the state. Officials present at the opening praised the governor’s commitment to promoting cultural awareness and building a vibrant arts sector.
