Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has commended Governor Uba Sani for his efforts in healing divisions and fostering unity across Kaduna State.
Speaking at the 35th Anniversary Synod of the Diocese of Kafanchan over the weekend, Fani-Kayode described Sani’s rise to leadership as a timely intervention that has helped stabilize the state following years of tension and mistrust.
He highlighted that previous governance structures had left certain communities feeling marginalised, recalling a period when national security appointments were dominated by a single religious group, leaving Christians in Kaduna sidelined.
Fani-Kayode praised Governor Sani for promoting fairness, inclusion, and confidence among Kaduna’s diverse populations, noting that his approach could serve as a model for leadership across Nigeria.
“The governor’s commitment to justice and unity is a lesson for other states to follow,” he stated, urging continued focus on reconciliation and community cohesion.
