The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) and the National Pension Commission (PenCom) have formalized a partnership aimed at enhancing transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance within Nigeria’s pension system.

The landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) seeks to strengthen oversight mechanisms, ensure proper management of pension funds, and curb financial mismanagement. Officials from both agencies emphasized that the collaboration will foster trust among pension contributors while reinforcing adherence to established guidelines.

This initiative aligns with broader efforts to protect the retirement savings of Nigerians and enhance confidence in the nation’s pension administration framework.
