Dubai, UAE – The Honourable Minister of Arts, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Barr. Hannatu Musawa, represented Nigeria at the UAE-Africa Tourism Investment Summit 2025 in Dubai, joining African leaders and global investors to explore strategic tourism partnerships.
During the summit, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to strengthening economic ties with Africa. Discussions with H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism, and H.E. Shaika Nasser Al Nowais, Secretary-General Elect of UN Tourism, focused on using tourism as a key driver for Africa’s economic growth.
Barr. Musawa highlighted Nigeria’s dedication to leveraging arts, culture, and tourism as catalysts for inclusive development, drawing inspiration from the UAE model where tourism fuels diversification, attracts investment, and enhances global competitiveness.
