The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery through strategic partnerships with Rotary International and the Rotary Foundation.
Governor Eno received the Trustee Chairman of the Rotary Foundation, Holger Knaack, and his team at Government House, Uyo, where discussions focused on collaborative efforts to improve child and maternal health across the state.
Announcing a major initiative, Governor Eno revealed that Akwa Ibom has been selected as a pilot state for the Rotary Healthy Communities Challenge, a program aimed at promoting healthier communities and expanding access to quality healthcare services.
“Together, we’re building stronger communities and ensuring quality healthcare for every Akwa Ibomite. God bless!” Governor Eno stated, highlighting the government’s dedication to public health and sustainable development through effective partnerships.
