Amnesty International USA has strongly condemned the latest air strike that reportedly killed at least 69 people, urging the U.S. Congress to intervene and hold the administration accountable for what the organization describes as unlawful military actions.

In a statement, Amnesty International called the air strikes an illegal use of force and demanded that Congress exercise its oversight powers to prevent further attacks. The organization emphasized the need to investigate the incidents, halt unlawful operations, and ensure that those responsible for civilian deaths are brought to justice.

“No government should act above the law when it comes to the use of lethal force,” the statement read, highlighting concerns over civilian casualties and the urgent need for transparency and accountability in military operations.

Amnesty International’s warning comes amid growing international scrutiny of air strike campaigns and their human cost, reinforcing the global demand for adherence to human rights and protection of civilians in conflict zones.
