On 6 November 2025, around 8:45 a.m., operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Delta State Command, conducting a routine stop-and-search at Koka Roundabout, Asaba, intercepted a young man exhibiting suspicious behavior. A thorough search revealed the fabricated firearm concealed in the loaf, prompting the immediate arrest of Nnamdi Stanley Chibuike, aged 24, from Ogbeowele Quarters, behind General Hospital, Asaba.
The recovered weapon has been secured as evidence, while investigations continue to determine Chibuike’s possible involvement in armed robbery and kidnapping incidents across Asaba and neighboring communities.

He reaffirmed the force’s determination to identify, arrest, and prosecute criminal elements, regardless of the tactics employed.
