Kano Police Deploy Additional Personnel to Boost Security in Communities and Schools

Kano, Nigeria – The Kano State Police Command has taken proactive steps to strengthen security across the state, particularly in communities and schools. This follows a strategic meeting convened by Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori, on Wednesday, 26th November 2025.

During the meeting, operational commanders were directed to implement measures aimed at safeguarding lives and property, with a special focus on border local government areas. The initiative includes deploying additional personnel for enhanced surveillance and intelligence gathering.

The deployment officially took effect on Thursday, 27th November 2025, as part of efforts to prevent criminal activities and maintain peace. CP Bakori reiterated the Command’s commitment to protecting residents and tackling anyone attempting to create fear or insecurity in the state.

The Kano State Police Command assured the public of its continued dedication to maintaining law and order, and thanked citizens for their cooperation in providing timely and actionable information that supports security operations.
