The spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, has ignited a fresh wave of controversy after appearing to publicly throw her support behind singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, amid the long-running and increasingly bitter feud between the Okoye brothers. Adeh, who is the Police Public Relations Officer for the FCT Command, shared a throwback photograph of herself with the music star on her official Facebook page on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, recalling their first meeting at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja a decade ago. Her caption, which included the hashtag "#IbelievePeter," has been widely interpreted as a public endorsement of Peter in his ongoing dispute with his elder brother Jude Okoye and twin brother Paul Okoye (Rudeboy).
In the post, Adeh wrote: "How time flies. Ten years ago (2016), I met my all-time fav Mr Psquare at the NPF Force Headquarters Abuja. #IbelievePeter." The photo and caption quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from social media users who were divided over whether a serving police spokesperson should publicly express support in a controversy involving public figures. While Adeh did not directly address the family dispute, her choice of the hashtag #IbelievePeter was seen as a clear signal of where her sympathies lie, adding another layer of intrigue to an already heated family saga.
The Okoye brothers' feud has dominated public attention in recent days, with Peter releasing a series of tell-all videos detailing his side of the dispute. He has made several allegations against his elder brother and former P-Square manager, Jude Okoye, including claims of financial misconduct involving the diversion of more than $1.2 million in music royalties, threats to his life, and disagreements over the ownership of a property in the United States.
