The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) team has officially launched its participation in the two-week nationwide grassroots sensitisation programme, holding a press conference today to outline activities designed to bring government policies closer to the people.

Speaking on behalf of the Director General of the Agency, the Director of Finance and Accounts, Sule Haruna, highlighted key government initiatives such as the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund), the Conditional Cash Transfer, and other social safety net programmes aimed at empowering vulnerable citizens.

Haruna further explained that the agency remains committed to promoting respect for national symbols, with special emphasis on the new national anthem and its recitation across all sectors of society.

Addressing concerns about indecent practices during graduation ceremonies, the Director General noted that the sensitisation campaign will also work to curb such excesses, thereby encouraging greater discipline and decorum within the educational system.

The event was attended by several senior officials including the Director of Procurement, Kenneth Onyejepu, the FCT Director, Madam Acharu Opaluwa, alongside other staff of the agency—all reaffirming their support for the nationwide campaign.

Stone Reporters News gathered that the administration’s focus on exchange rate stability, macroeconomic predictability, and regulatory reforms has reinforced investor confidence, contributing to Nigeria’s rising capital market prominence.
