Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has officially sworn-in Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer as the new Head of Service of the state, alongside two Special Advisers on legal matters, Barr. Inemo Oruebimiekumo and Dr. Alabo Ozubide, at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Yenagoa.
During the ceremony, Governor Diri commended the outgoing Head of Service, Barr. (Mrs.) Biobelemoye Charles-Onyema, for her dedicated service, and charged Dr. Sawyer to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and dedication in executing his duties.
“I charge you to be professional in executing your duties with confidence and authority. Be impeccable in all your actions during your tenure as HoS. I have no doubt, having gone through your CV, that you will succeed and will not fail,” Governor Diri emphasized.
Dr. Wisdom Ebiye Sawyer now becomes the 12th Head of Service in Bayelsa State, marking a new chapter in the state’s commitment to efficient and effective governance.
